The IEEE Tutorial on the Protection of Synchronous Generators was developed for use by the industry to help practicing engineers apply the IEEE Guides relating to relay protection of synchronous generators. This website includes a calendar of scheduled presentations.  IEEE Power System Relaying Committee experts, available on a limited basis, may be able to present the tutorial in a location near you.  Please direct an inquiry to the PSRC Rotating Machinery Subcommittee chair, at GenProtTutorial@ieee.org for more information on hosting this 8-hour tutorial.
